Fall 2017: The 4th Annual SWMS Symposium

Swimming in Confidence- Declaring your Scientific Authority

When: Friday, November 3, 2017, 8:30am to 5 pm.

Where: Redfield Auditorium at WHOI in Woods Hole, MA (see our Getting There page for more info.)

Who: Anyone interested in advancing women in marine science (all genders welcome!)

Cost: We have a tiered suggested payment structure:

  • Free, if you are unable to pay
  • Undergraduates: $10
  • Graduate students: $20
  • Non-students: $30

Please note there will be a free option, and an inability to pay should not stop you from attending the symposium! These tiers are suggestions, but we hope you will pay what you are comfortable with.

You can register for the waitlist here, but we have reached our full capacity for initial registrations.

We also encourage all attendees to request funding from their institution (or advisor, for students) to attend. Any institution that provides travel support for two or more attendees will be acknowledged as a travel grant sponsor. Please contact us if you would like our assistance with a funding request.
