Logistics
Mentees can be in high school and above, while mentors are post-undergraduate and above. You can be both a mentor and mentee, if you’d like!
There are both group and one-on-one options. Mentors and mentees will meet once per month, with the option to add more meetings.
We are accepting sign ups on a rolling basis. Please note that it may take us up to 1-2 months to match you with someone.
Mentors and mentees must be SWMS members to participate in the program.
NOTE: Mentorship match emails sometime will go into the spam boxes, particularly for .edu and .org accounts. Please add swmsmentorship@gmail.com in your list of recognized email contacts upon completing the sign-up forms to ensure that you receive your matches!
Mentors are responsible for initiating contact with mentees after matching. If you have not been contacted by your mentor within a reasonable time frame after receiving your match, please get in touch with the Mentorship Chair. If mentors do not respond after 2 contact attempts, mentees will be rematched and mentors will be removed from the program.
