Location
Join us on Stony Brook University’s campus this fall!
How to get here:
Stony Brook is accessible by plane, train, and boat!
Plane: The closest airports are LaGuardia and John F Kennedy (NYC). From either airport, you can take the Long Island Railroad (LIRR) to Stony Brook.
Train: From New York City, take the LIRR out to Stony Brook via the Port Jefferson line! The Stony Brook stop is on the north side of campus.
Boat: There are two ferries that take you to Long Island, one out of New London, CT and one out of Bridgeport, CT. Both allow you to drive cars onto the ferry or walk on. The Bridgeport ferry is closer to campus. These are best for individuals coming from points north.
Where to Stay:
There are several hotels in and around the Stony Brook Campus, including a Hilton Garden Inn on campus, and a Holiday Inn Express less than 10 minutes away that offers a local shuttle to pick you up from the Bridgeport Ferry or the Stony Brook LIRR Station!
