North Pacific Groundfish Observer
This job requires long trips at sea on a commercial fishing vessel on the Bering Sea and the Aleutian Islands. You will be required to pass a 3-week training course at NOAA/NMFS where you will learn to ID target fish species. At sea you must record catch data, collect sex-length frequencies and report fishing violations.
